Which currency does my event sell in?

We set your event's currency automatically from the event's location: an event in Singapore sells in SGD, for example. There's nothing to choose.

How to do it

  1. Add your venue in Event page: see Add your event location.
  2. Open Payments & go live and check Currency, for example SGD S$.
  3. To sell in another currency, change the event's location.

At checkout, buyers can also choose to pay in their own currency: the converted price and the exchange rate are shown before they pay.

If your event is in a different country from your Stripe account, sales carry an extra FX fee. See Cross-border sales and the 2% FX fee.
