Connect Stripe to publish
You need a connected Stripe account before you can publish a paid event. Free events don't need one. Stripe verifies your identity and business once, and ticket revenue settles straight to your own bank account: we never hold your money.
Where to find it: Step 4 → Payout → Connect Stripe
How to do it
- In Payments & go live, go to Payout. Until Stripe is connected, you see the banner Connect Stripe before you publish.
- Click Connect Stripe.
- Select the country where your business is registered. Stripe opens next. See Which countries are supported?
- Follow Stripe's verification. If you have a UEN, Stripe detects your business type from it; if not, you connect as an individual. See Connect Stripe as a company or as an individual or sole proprietor.
- Back in Payout, check that Stripe shows Connected, with your Stripe email and business country.
Have Singpass ready, and copy your legal name and address exactly as they appear on your official records. A tiny difference pauses your payouts.
Tip: you need a new Stripe Express account even if you already use Stripe. See Why you need a new Stripe Express account.
