Connect Stripe as an individual or sole proprietor
If you run events as yourself or as a sole proprietor, you connect Stripe as an individual. You're the account representative, and you don't need a Letter of Authority.
Where to find it: Connect Stripe → no UEN
How to do it
- Click Connect Stripe and select your country of operation.
- When Stripe asks for a UEN, say you don't have one. You connect as an Individual.
- Verify your identity with Singpass: it's the quickest route. Stripe may also ask for a selfie.
- Upload your documents and add your bank account details.
If you're a registered sole proprietor, Stripe also checks your ACRA record.
What to have ready
