RSVP or auto-approved invitations
With an auto-approved invitation, the guest gets their ticket by email straight away. With RSVP, they confirm or decline first, and the ticket is only issued once they confirm.
Where to find it: Send Invite → Review Guest(s) → Invitation Type
How to do it
- In Guest Invitations, click Send Invite, choose your guests and click Preview Guest(s).
- Under Invitation Type, choose RSVP (the guest must confirm to receive their ticket) or Auto-Approved Invitation (they get it straight away).
- For RSVP, pick a Reply deadline. The line below shows the exact date and time guests must reply by.
- Click Next, set up the email, then click Sent Invite(s).
Guests get an email with Confirm and View Event buttons, and a link to decline.
Reply deadlines
| If you pick… | Guests can confirm until… |
|---|---|
| 24h before event | 24 hours before the event starts |
| 48h before event | 48 hours before the event starts |
| At event start | The moment the event begins |
| Custom | A date and time you set |
If a guest doesn't reply in time, the ticket held for them returns to your available stock. Your ticket supply adjusts automatically as guests respond.
Tip: see who has confirmed so far in Track your invitations.
