Co-host an event: Limited vs Full Access
Add another organisation as a co-host to put your event on their calendar, or to run it with you. You keep the revenue.
Where to find it: Step 2 → + Add co-host
How to do it
- In the Event page step, click + Add co-host.
- In Add a co-host, search for the organisation. Not on Tessera yet? Enter their email and click Send Invitation, then add them once they've joined.
- Under Access level, choose Full Access (runs the event with you) or Limited Access (helps you sell).
- Click Send Invitation. The co-host shows Invite pending until they accept. With Full Access, their admin picks who on their team works on it: everyone by default, never people who join their team later.
Choose the level carefully: the first ticket sale locks it. After that, you can't remove the co-host or change their level, and they can't leave.
Limited vs Full Access
| Limited Access | Full Access | |
|---|---|---|
| Event on their public calendar | Yes | Yes |
| Market it to their own audience | Yes | Yes |
| Dashboard, sales, orders, analytics, attendees | No | Yes |
| Edit the event page and tickets | No | Yes |
| Promo codes, tracking links, quantity discounts | No | Yes |
| Check-in | No | Yes |
| Attendee data (they consent to both at checkout) | No | Yes |
| Payouts, cancel or delete the event | No | No |
Each organisation markets to its own audience; your databases never merge.
Tip: you can also add co-hosts from Overview → Event Access: see Manage who works on an event.
